Certification is valid for three years. Maintaining your understanding of current DHA practices by attending training courses and gaining on-going relevant work experience are important aspects for a CDP^℠. Therefore, recertification requirements for CDP^℠ are as follows:

• Successful completion within the last three years of applicable classroom training for a minimum of two days is required.

• One professional reference from supervisor / manager / peer who can attest to work experience and professional ethics.
