Certification is valid for three years.  Maintaining your understanding of current procedure writing practices by attending training courses and writing procedures are important aspects for a CPW^®.  Therefore, recertification requirements for CPW^® are as follows:

• A detailed procedure prepared within the last year by the applicant must be submitted together with any associated guidelines that were used in its development.

• Successful completion within the last three years of applicable classroom training for a minimum of two days is required.

• Two professional references from supervisor / manager / peer who can attest to responsibility for work product and professional ethics.
